These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, mobile application, cloud platform, and connected products provided by Airobot Technologies AS (“Airobot”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

We develop intelligent indoor climate solutions including heat recovery ventilation units, smart heating thermostats, heating control products, and the accompanying mobile application and cloud platform (airobothome.com).
2. Scope of Services
These Terms apply to:
- The airobothome.com website
- The Airobot mobile application (iOS and Android)
- The Airobot cloud platform and related APIs
- Any connected Airobot hardware product used in conjunction with the above
These Terms apply to both individual consumers (B2C) and business customers (B2B). Where specific provisions differ for business customers, this is noted explicitly.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use the Airobot mobile app and cloud services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian.
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us immediately at info@airobothome.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account. Airobot is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to take reasonable precautions.
4. Use of Services
You agree to use our services:
- In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Only for lawful purposes that do not harm Airobot, other users, or third parties.
- Without attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, devices, or data.
- Without reverse-engineering, decompiling, or modifying any Airobot software or firmware without prior written permission.
5. Connected Devices
5.1 Device ownership and authorisation
By connecting an Airobot device to your account, you confirm that you are the legal owner or an authorised user of that device.
5.2 Connectivity dependency
Remote control, monitoring, and cloud-dependent features require a working internet connection. Airobot is not liable for loss of functionality caused by internet outages, router failures, or other connectivity issues outside our control.
Core ventilation and heating functions of the physical device operate independently of the internet connection.
5.3 Firmware and software updates
Airobot may issue over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates to connected devices. Updates may be required for continued access to app features or for security purposes. We will communicate significant updates in advance where possible.
5.4 Installation requirements
Devices must be installed in a location that meets the clearance requirements specified in the relevant product installation guide. Failure to maintain adequate service access may result in Airobot or its authorised service partner deferring maintenance until access conditions are met.
6. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Airobot services — including designs, trademarks, logos, software, firmware, and documentation — is the property of Airobot Technologies AS or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Airobot content without prior written permission.
7. Pricing and Payment
Prices for products and services are listed in euros (EUR). Prices for B2C sales include VAT unless otherwise stated. B2B prices are shown excluding VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes to pricing do not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Orders are considered confirmed only after successful payment and written order confirmation from Airobot.
8. Warranty
Our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty as described in the Airobot Warranty Terms, available at airobothome.com/warranty.
Consumer rights: B2C customers in the EU are additionally entitled to a 2-year statutory guarantee from the seller under Estonian law (VÕS § 218) and EU Directive 2019/771, regardless of the manufacturer’s warranty.
9. Returns and Cancellations
9.1 B2C customers (consumers)
Consumer customers in the EU have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Estonian law (VÕS § 56).
To exercise this right, notify us at info@airobothome.com within 14 days of delivery. The product must be returned in its original condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is faulty.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been clearly personalised, or to sealed goods that have been opened after delivery where a return is unsuitable for hygiene or health reasons.
9.2 B2B customers
Return and cancellation rights for business customers are governed by the terms of the applicable purchase agreement or order confirmation. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply to B2B purchases.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Airobot Technologies AS is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services or products.
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
- Damages resulting from third-party service failures (e.g. internet outages, cloud provider downtime).
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of our website, app, or cloud services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights granted to consumers under mandatory EU or Estonian consumer protection law.
11. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with third-party providers including Amazon Web Services (cloud infrastructure and authentication) and Google Analytics (website analytics). We are not responsible for the terms, availability, or practices of these third parties.

12. Service Modifications and Termination
Airobot may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. For significant changes that affect core functionality, we will provide reasonable notice by email or through the app.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, following notice where reasonably practicable.
13. Privacy
How we collect and process your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available at airobothome.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
For B2C customers, continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, provided adequate notice has been given. If you do not accept the changes, you may close your account before the effective date.
For B2B customers, significant changes that affect existing service agreements will be handled through direct communication and mutual agreement where required.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
B2C customers in the EU also have the right to use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Estonia.
