1. Warranty Periods by Product
| Product Category | Warranty Duration | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Ventilation units | 2 years | Proof of purchase or serial number |
| Ventilation units (extended) | 4 years | See Section 2 |
| Heating control products (excl. accessories) | 4 years | Proof of purchase or serial number |
| Accessories (inc. Humidifier) | 2 years | Proof of purchase or serial number |
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. If more than three months have passed since the device’s manufacturing date at the time of purchase, the warranty period is counted from the third month after the manufacturing date.
Proof of Warranty
To validate a warranty claim, one of the following is required:
- Original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice), or
- The device’s manufacturing date as determined by its serial number.
2. Extended Warranty for Ventilation Units
Airobot ventilation units are eligible for an extended 4-year warranty when both of the following conditions are met at the time of registration:
- The device has been connected to the internet at least once within 6 months of its manufacturing date.
- The end-user has created an account in the Airobot mobile app and linked the device to their account.
Conditions to Maintain the Extended Warranty
To keep the extended warranty valid throughout the full 4-year period:
- The device must be maintained according to the relevant product’s user manual.
- Only original Airobot filters must be used, replaced every 6 months or more frequently if indicated by the device or usage conditions.
Filters are consumable parts and are not covered under this warranty. Use of non-original filters or failure to perform regular filter maintenance may void the extended warranty.
3. Warranty Coverage
During the warranty period, Airobot or an authorised service partner will, at their discretion, repair or replace any component or part identified as defective due to materials or manufacturing defects.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper handling.
- Modifications made to the product without Airobot’s written permission.
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage.
- Consumable parts, including filters (unless a defect is present at time of delivery).
- Damage caused by liquids, extreme temperatures, or environmental conditions outside the device’s rated operating range.
- Software-related issues caused by the customer, third-party applications, or factors outside Airobot’s control, including data loss or corruption.
- Accessories or components not included with the original product.
4. Making a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, the owner must contact the dealer or Airobot customer support via the manufacturer’s website. The following may be required:
- Proof of original purchase.
- A description of the issue.
- Photos or other supporting information as requested.
5. Repair or Replacement
If a covered defect is confirmed, the product will be repaired or replaced with a product of equal specification, at Airobot’s discretion.
Repaired or replaced products will carry the longer of: the remaining original warranty period, or 6 months from the date of repair or replacement.
6. Installation and Maintenance Access
Airobot devices require regular maintenance and must be installed in an easily accessible location. Each product model specifies the minimum clearance required for servicing — refer to the relevant installation guide.
If the installation conditions do not allow for safe servicing, Airobot or its authorised service partner reserves the right to defer maintenance or repair until the necessary access conditions are met. This does not affect the validity of the warranty itself.
