We regularly update our software to improve performance and reliability. Below you’ll find the most important updates we think our users should know about. Smaller security patches and bug fixes may also be released but are not always listed here.

Please note that software updates may be rolled out in stages, so your device might not always run the latest version mentioned here right away. If you have any questions about software versions or updates, please contact our customer support.

Release notes

Mobile Aplication

Version 2.27 (October 2025).

  • Control your device locally via Bluetooth. To connect, go to Settings or the “Connect Wi-Fi or Configure” screen during signup. Your ventilation unit must run firmware version 539 or newer. 
  • Added Demo Mode, which now shows a demo home group where both the thermostat and ventilation can be controlled.
  • The fan balancing view has been redesigned for a smoother experience and a clearer overview of real-time fan speeds. Devices with constant flow support now include additional options to set minimum and maximum airflow levels.
  • Fixed various crashes and stability issues

Ventilation units

Version 539 (October 2025)

  • New! Control your ventilation unit locally via the mobile app using Bluetooth connection (Wi-Fi enabled ventilation devices only)
  • Central humidifier now includes multiple new safety features for more secure operation
  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements

Version 538 (August 2025)

  • Improved stability and accuracy for the new air quality sensor in V4 and V6 models.
  • Fixed issue where, in some models, the VOC sensor incorrectly displayed readings as “0”.
  • Corrected PM2.5 sensor readings: due to a sensor manufacturer-side update, values were previously multiplied by 10. The latest firmware now restores accurate PM readings.

Version 537 (August 2025)

  • Added compatibility for Airobot V4 and V6 models, including the ability to change the device ducting type (Right or Left) directly from the mobile app or controller.
  • Fixed an issue where devices could lose connection with the extension module for duct cooler or heater control.
  • Introduced an all-in-one air quality sensor, now integrated into V4 and V6 models.
  • Improved constant airflow control for even smoother and more stable fan operation.

Version 536 (March 2025)

  • This update introduces constant flow fan control and fan power consumption monitoring for compatible devices, improving performance and energy tracking.
  • The device will now remain off after a fire alarm is cleared, preventing unintended automatic restarts.
  • Added support for automatic damper relays where applicable.
  • Fixed a rare issue where certain settings could be lost after an over-the-air (OTA) update.
  • Devices now send error alerts directly to the server, laying the groundwork for future push notification support.

Version 533 (July 2024)

  • Added support for Airobot Lite devices.
  • Fans can now be controlled based on PM (Particulate Matter) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) levels.
  • Various improvements to humidifier functionality.
  • CO₂ threshold for presence detection is now configurable.
  • Improved fan control logic to reduce false error reports.
  • Wi-Fi functionality introduced for units manufactured from September 2024 onward (if equipped with Wi-Fi hardware).

Version 531 (March 2024)

  • Airobot room sensors and thermostats now transmit air quality data to ventilation devices.
  • Fixed: Presence detection (energy-saving mode) activating even when disabled.
  • Significantly improved humidifier control logic.

Version 267 (August 2025)

  • You can now secure your thermostat with a PIN code. Choose between a full lock to fix the temperature or a partial lock that allows changes only within your defined minimum and maximum range, giving you better control and preventing unwanted adjustments.

Version 266 (January 2024)

  • It is now possible to set the minimum and maximum allowed heating setpoint temperature, defining the range the user can choose from.

Version 264 (June 2023)

  • In some cases, the hardware number shown on the screen was incorrect.

  • In rare cases, the thermostat could stop functioning and require a restart.

Version 263 (May 2023)

  • The main menu interface has been redesigned.

  • An automatic actuator cycling function has been added to prevent valve sticking.

  • A local API is now available, with documentation in the Help section.

  • Touch buttons could occasionally stop responding.

  • Restoring factory settings could cause the thermostat to forget the password, which can now be recovered by contacting support.

Room sensors SE1 and room controller

Controller Version 266 (August 2025)

  • Additional relays for pump and boiler control now include a function that starts them with a 3-minute delay if at least one of the zones is requesting heat.
  • Fixed issue, where In some rare cases, the room controller could lose connection with all room sensors and require a reboot to restore connection.
  • If room sensors lose connection with the room controller, an emergency function activates running heating for 15 minutes on and 45 minutes off. Previously it was 6 minutes off, 16 minutes on.

Controller Version 265 (May 2025)

  • Fixed occasional room controller connection issues over LAN.
  • Added auto-recovery for room sensors when connection is lost.

Controller Version 263, Room Sensors Version 258 (December 2024)

  • The controller now includes an option during initial setup to configure floor cooling functionality, offering greater flexibility for your system.
  • Compatibility has been added to control up to four external fan coils, expanding system capabilities.
  • Connection stability with room sensors has been improved for more reliable and seamless operation.
